More Fun Run Essentials

As the event is self-seeded, please line up according to your goal finish time. Remember, your time will only start when you cross the start mat. Your final placing will be determined by mat times, so there is no need to fight to be at the front.

The running course may change due to adverse weather conditions. Refer to the 2km, 5km and 10km course maps.

All school toilet facilities will be available on the day of the event.

BAGGAGE DROP (7:00-11:00am)

You can leave your gear at the baggage drop location in the Staff Room. There will be plastic bags available. Please place your gear in these bags and write your bib number on it with the markers provided. Please take any valuables, such as money, keys and phones with you as we can not take responsibility for any personal valuables.

Kilometre markings will be placed at every kilometre along the fun run route, eg. for the 5km course there will be signs at 1km, 2km, 3km and 4km.

As we want runners, joggers and walkers to participate, there are no cut-off times at specific points for the separate distances. However, there is a general race closure time of 11.00am.

There will be one water station located at the Melwood Ave and Starkey St intersection. You will need to cut into the bottom of Ellis Park. If you do not want water, you can continue around the bend of the path. Please try and dispose of your cups in the bins provided at this station. Only water is available.

Bibs can be collected at various times before the event or at least 45 minutes before your race starts on the event day.
