Run Forest Run Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Can I enter on the day?

Yes, you can enter on the day. Online entries are open until 15 minutes before each event starts. However, it is better if registration is completed before you arrive at the school – making it easier and quicker to arrive at the school and pick up your race bib.  If events fill up, we may have to close registrations prior to the day.

Yes, the 4km event has a family entry category. A family entry includes up to 2 adults and up to 3 children (under 18) from the same family or household.

What facilities will be available at the event?

There will be toilets, water refill points, a bag drop location to leave your extra belongings, and of course the family fair with plenty of food and drinks, and other stalls to keep the whole family entertained.

Do I need to register if I want to run or walk with my child in the 2km event?

Yes, you should register as an ‘Accompanying Adult’ which has a reduced entry fee but will also mean your time will not be taken.

How are times taken for results?

All events are electronically timed with times taken when you cross the start line and then again when you cross the finish line. This means that you don’t have to be in front of the pack to win the race.

Will the event be photographed?

There will be photographers on site during the event, by participating in this event you give your consent for any images or footage to be used in future event promotional material.
